What should I know to jump?
1. When are you open?
MSC operates Friday afternoons to Sunday evening - sun up to sun down during the summer months. We also operate on other days by appointment. We will be open during the winter months if we can gather four jumpers and schedule a pilot to fly us.
2. What kind of plane do you have?
Minnesota Skydivers Club has a Cessna 206 which carries five jumpers plus the pilot. This is the roomiest Cessna's you will ever squeeze your buddies into...guaranteed! This aircraft is maintained to the highest safety standards possible.
3.) How high do you go?
Generally, experienced skydivers exit at 10,500 feet AGL. You are welcome to exit at any altitude you wish (within S.I.M. recommendations). At least once a year in the middle to late summer, MSC contracts with a turbine aircraft for a weekend of higher altitudes and larger formations. Be sure to keep an eye on the Activities Page for information and dates concerning this aircraft.
4.) How much does it cost for experienced/licensed jumpers?
Altitude will run you $1 per 1000 feet, plus $8. ($18.00 to 10,000 feet)
5.) What camping facilities are available?

6.) Are there any places to eat?
There are no restaurants located at the drop zone or the airport. There are vending machines available inside the airport FBO building. The dropzone is located about two miles from downtown Waseca, which offers dine-in, fast food, grocery stores, and just about anything you desire.
7.) Do you have any rigging services?
We do not have any dedicated on-site rigging services, but there are usually plenty of riggers around who will be happy to help you. We have a number of Senior Riggers who are active club members.
